Service Terms and Conditions

Effective Date:03/03/2025

Thank you for choosing Nordsabb Kaj Klyn A/S. We are committed to providing high-quality automotive and marine services, including the sale of used parts. By purchasing services or parts from us, you agree to the following service terms and conditions.

1. General Service Information

We offer a range of automotive and marine services, including repairs, installations, diagnostics, and the sale of used vehicle and boat parts. Our services are performed by qualified professionals with extensive experience in the field.

2. Service Request and Authorization

  • Estimates: Before any service is performed, a written estimate of the work and associated costs will be provided to you, either in-person, via phone, or email. You are required to approve the estimate in writing or verbally before we proceed with any work.
  • Authorization to Work: By authorizing service, you give us permission to perform the requested work on your vehicle or boat, including the use of used parts if applicable. If additional work is identified during the service, we will notify you and seek approval before proceeding.
  • Work Completion: We will make every effort to complete all work within the agreed-upon time frame, but the time required may vary depending on the complexity of the service and availability of parts.

3. Used Parts and Warranties

  • Used Parts: We sell and install only used parts that are thoroughly inspected and tested. While we guarantee the quality and performance of these parts to the best of our ability, used parts may have normal wear and tear. These parts are often sold “as-is” unless otherwise specified.
  • Warranties on Used Parts: Used parts come with a limited warranty, which covers defects in materials or workmanship. The duration of the warranty varies depending on the part but is typically 30 days to 90 days from the installation date. Labor associated with replacing faulty parts is not covered by the warranty.
  • No Warranty on Certain Parts: Certain used parts, such as electrical components, custom parts, or parts specifically marked as “final sale,” are not covered under any warranty.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Information Disclosure: It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information regarding the condition of your vehicle or boat and any known issues before the service begins. This includes any prior repairs or known defects that may affect the current service.
  • Pre-Installation Inspection: We recommend that you have your vehicle or boat thoroughly inspected by a professional mechanic before any work is performed. While we ensure high-quality service, the nature of used parts means that certain issues may not be immediately evident.
  • Parts Compatibility: While we strive to ensure that all parts are compatible with your vehicle or boat, it is ultimately the customer's responsibility to confirm compatibility before installation. We will help assess compatibility, but certain installations may require custom adaptations.
  • Installation and Post-Service Care: If you choose to install parts or conduct any follow-up repairs yourself, you assume full responsibility for any damages caused by incorrect installation or failure to properly maintain the vehicle/boat.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Service Fees: All service fees will be outlined in the estimate provided before work begins. Any additional charges resulting from unforeseen issues will be communicated and agreed upon before the work proceeds.
  • Payment Terms: Payment for services and parts is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, cash, or other electronic payment methods.
  • Deposit Requirement: A deposit may be required for certain services or large parts orders. This deposit will be applied toward the final balance due at the completion of the work.

6. Aging, Repair, and Return of Parts

  • Returning Installed Parts: Once parts have been installed, they are considered part of the vehicle/boat and cannot be returned. If a part is found to be defective or faulty, we will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund based on our Return & Refund Policy.
  • Repair Warranty: We offer a warranty on our repair work, which typically lasts for 30 days. If any issues arise within this period due to workmanship or defects in installed parts, we will correct the issue at no additional charge.
  • Third-Party Parts: If you provide your own parts for installation, we are not responsible for defects or issues arising from those parts. We will inspect third-party parts before installation, but their quality or functionality is not guaranteed by us.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Service Cancellation: If you wish to cancel or reschedule a service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Failure to Pick Up: If you fail to pick up your vehicle or boat within 7 days after service completion, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee.

8. Liability and Limitations

  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the parts and services provided. We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of parts, labor, or services provided.
  • Insurance: We maintain general liability insurance for our services. However, it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle or boat is properly insured during the service period, especially for high-value items or unique parts.

9. Customer Satisfaction

  • Feedback: We value your feedback. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to resolve the issue. We are committed to ensuring that all our customers are satisfied with the work performed.
  • Dispute Resolution: If you are not satisfied with the outcome of our services and we are unable to resolve the issue, we will refer to an independent third-party mediator or arbitrator to resolve the matter in accordance with relevant local laws.

10. Governing Law

These service terms and conditions are governed by the danish laws. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Denmark.
